After boarding, we set off to explore the northern coastline of Chania, combining serene beaches with unique island landscapes. Our first stop is Kalathas Beach, a sandy, sheltered bay with shallow, crystal-clear waters, ideal for a relaxing swim.
We then head to Tersanas Beach, a quiet, family-friendly cove known for its calm waters and peaceful surroundings, perfect for unwinding and enjoying the scenery.
Next, we visit Machairida Beach, a small hidden gem with soft sand and vivid turquoise waters, offering a more secluded and intimate swimming experience.
Continuing along the coast, we reach Mavrovouni Bay, a less crowded spot with deep blue waters and a sense of untouched natural beauty, ideal for those looking to escape the busy beaches.
We then cruise towards St. Theodoroi Beach, located opposite the protected Theodorou Island. This area is rich in natural beauty and history, as the island is a designated wildlife refuge, home to the famous Cretan wild goat (kri-kri). The turquoise waters here are perfect for swimming while enjoying views of this unique protected landscape.
Our final stop is Lazareta Isle, a small islet just off the coast, known for its clear waters and peaceful atmosphere, an ideal place for one last swim before we begin our relaxing return.
